Out How A Rubber Mat Can Easily Fix Your Ugly Wall Vent Problem
Depending on the age of your home, it may have some features
that were useful or practical when it was originally built, but don't really
make sense anymore. While such features can add that bit of trendy, vintage
throwback to a space, sometimes they are nothing more than an inconvenient
eyesore! If your home is anything like Curb Alert's Tami, you know what I'm
talking about. One wall in her home has an element to it that has a very
important purpose, but isn't the prettiest thing to look at: an air vent. And
I'm not talking about a small register that no one would ever really notice
either — this thing is big! I can understand why it would bother her,
especially since it's a part of her home and it detracts from her wonderful
gallery wall.
The Culprit
As you can see, this isn't the most attractive thing to have in
a space. It's fairly large in size (especially when you compare it to other
vents), and because it's a vital element for airflow in the home, it isn't
going anywhere.
The Fix
You may be looking at this photo and thinking to yourself,
"I don't get it. What part of this picture is the key to solving Tami's
ugly vent problem?" The answer, my friend, is the black rubber matting! That's
right! With a bit of creative thinking, she was able to figure out a super
cheap and easy way to cover up the register that would not hinder the way it
functions while also making it easier on the eyes.

Before
To recap, here is what Tami's gallery wall looked like before
her hit of DIY genius.
The One And
Only Step
She simply took the rubber mat off her front porch and tidied it
up with a bit of tire cleaner. She then installed two screws over the register
and hung the mat on them!
If it's not too much trouble proceed with this incredible work and I anticipate a greater amount of your wonderful blog entries. imec.com.my
